In the second week of September, we took a tour of the old Jewish neighborhood of Prague. Our guide was Alice, and she did a sterling job. She is a lifetime resident of the neighborhood. Michael was our guide for our tour around Prague. After our first day with Pavel Batel as our guide of Terezin, I had high expectations and Michael did a great job too! He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and customized his tour to fit our day. We saw all the major sites and he provided outstanding explanations and history about each. There is so much history in Prague and he really knew how to focus in and put it all in perspective so that it wasn't overwhelming. We walked around town and took some public transportation also but it was all at a comfortable pace. Michael knows his stuff and he's a very friendly guy who knows how to keep it interesting for both adults and teens. Ask for Michael as your guide in Prague and you will be glad you did!

Hello! We are back home in the States after a wonderful visit to Europe. One of the highlights of our trip was the time we spent in Prague with Alice. She met us in the lobby of our hotel, gorgeous in a beautiful outfit, including a hat and high heeled shoes! I still don't know how she walks the cobblestone streets of Prague in those, but she could outrun most people in them! We walked from our hotel through the Old Town of Prague and to the Old Jewish Quarter, where Alice grew up. We toured synagogues, museums and the Jewish cemetery. Alice's knowledge of the Jewish history of Prague is impressive. She did an excellent job sharing historical facts mixed with interesting and fascinating stories. Touring with her made the experience so much easier because she already had the admission tickets for the places we visited and we were able to skip all of the lines. Our time with her was much too short...we could have spent the whole day with her.
We met a couple in Budapest from Australia who was heading to Prague...we shared the information of your tour with them, as well as Alice's name. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Prague. Thank you for making our trip to Prague so special.
